Radio personality Scott Cox has been tight lipped since sexual harassment allegations were leveled against him by former co-host Inga Barks. Court records show this isn't the first time he's faced sexual controversy.

Radio host Inga Barks, who was employed by Bakersfield's KERN radio, alleges that her former co-host Scott Cox sexually harassed and assaulted her throughout much of the last decade.

Sen. Roy Ashburn said Monday he is gay, ending days of speculation that began after his arrest last week for investigation of driving under the influence. The conservative lawmaker came out Monday on KERN radio.

Absent from the speaker's platform at anti-tax rallies Wednesday in Bakersfield were politicians. "We don't need to hear from the politicians, we hear from them every day," said Jimmy Davis, who showed up sign in hand to the one of the events, dubbed "tea parties."
