Much of what's here is ridiculously expensive, of course. Think the fancy eateries along La Cienega Boulevard or the trendy bottle-service clubs in Hollywood and elsewhere. But at the same time, there is an impressive array of just really cool...

The council agreed Tuesday to let voters decide on the measures in May. One would limit the number of storefront pot clinics from hundreds to around 100. The other would allow an unlimited number but keep them away from schools, parks and other places.
